Jenny Sanford to Host 2010 Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Patients from Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital Invited to Easter Egg Hunt
Columbia, SC- March 19, 2010—Today Ms. Sanford announced she will host the annual First Lady’s Eater Egg Hunt along with the Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital and the Junior League of Columbia. Children’s Hospital patients, ages three through ten, who were hospitalized in the past year are invited to the egg hunt which will take place Monday from 4:30pm until 6:00pm at the Governor’s Mansion Complex (800 Richland Street, Columbia, SC, 29201).
Ms. Sanford said, “I am honored to once again be a part of this special event for my eighth year celebrating all the children who have been successfully treated at Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital. This community is certainly blessed to have a top notch Children’s Hospital with such excellent doctors and nurses, and I encourage all to continue to support this fine institution.”
Ms. Sanford will be joined by the Easter Bunny, Children’s Hospital Mascot Richie Raccoon and supporters from Children’s Hospital including their board members, Palmetto Health Foundation’s Volunteers in Action members and staff.
