Media Advisory: Future Farmers of America to Present Poinsettias to the First Lady and the South Carolina Christmas Tree Association to Deliver Trees
Columbia, S.C. – Monday, November 23, 2009- Students from the Lexington Technology Center will present First Lady Jenny Sanford with poinsettias today at 10:00 a.m. at the South Carolina Governor’s Mansion (800 Richland Street, Columbia).
The students, members of the Future Farmers of America, grow poinsettias every year for the Governor’s Mansion.
The SC Christmas Tree Association will deliver the Christmas trees today at 10:00 a.m. as well.
Media interested in attending this presentation should arrive at the Governor’s Mansion Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. Please enter through the main entrance at the guard gate on Lincoln Street.
